No sweat No weight loss : Its A myth

All of us who wanna lose weight have been long looking for ways wherein we can sweat the most to reduce our weight. We all believe that sweating is the way to lose weight, then it may be with the help of exercising or sauna belts or steam or whatsoever. Unfortunately its not true.


Now this may sound absurd coz we are so used to the thought of working out to lose weight by sweating but this is that bitter truth. Much of what we do to lose weight is never in the right direction. Sweating being one of them. Sweating only causes a temporary dehydration of our skin and the layer below but its nowhere to be seen that you lose fats by sweating. A chemical analysis of sweat says that sweat contains 98% water 1-2 salt and upto very little extent some toxins or whatever, but surprisingly no fat. I consulted my physician and the worst part is that he was clueless about it.


Also I came across an article in scientific american or popular science magazine( I dont remember which one) wherein they had some clinical trials done on the military men. They sad they made the men sweat and found that one doesnt continue sweating indefinitely. After a specific workout schedule the body stops sweating which highlight the fact that fat is not converted into sweat. I guess is tough to digest stuff like this but the earlier we understand the truth the better for us.
