LG AirConditioners... Bad Service (during installa

Hie,


LG has made a brand name in past few years , but my first experience on buying a LG product (air conditioner) was no less than a nightmare and hassle of 9 full working days in scrotching heat.


Well we needed two a.c’s for our office and we ordered one 1.5 ton and other 1.0 ton a.c’s from a LG Shoppe in south delhi.


We got the delivery in 3 days, my boss had paid price of one a.c as advance and a post dated cheque for the second.


First one was installed and worked fine but the servicemen were unable to install the second a.c. They went back fitting the a.c in bad working condition and did not show up for next 4 days. After our repeated calls to the showroom as well as to the service centre at okhla, some engineers were sent but they too failed to diagnose the technical fault. we requested to replace the product with a new one fearin it has a manufac. defect but that too was ignored.


We then stopped the payment of our post dated cheque. After this the showroom manager men told us to replace the 1 ton model by 1.5 ton. We had to do it as our office work was hampering leading to rise in our cost/budget.


The products I bought are working fine as of now. But I would just aware neone going in to buy a LG product to be ready for a miserable support service in case u get a product with some manafac. defect.
