Thought to caution about the insurance company named’Cholamandalam’. I had a car insurance and unfortunately the car caught fire due to short circuit. But the company refused to pay by creating a false story that the vehicle was tampered.
I had a loss of about 4 lacs. The case is with consumer court. And the worst is their surveyors are greedy animals who will harrass you in all possible way by saying the claim is not feasible and indirectly signal for bribe. If you are buying a car insurance look for better companies. Be aware of this cheater company - Cholamandalam. They has offices all around the India and their call center will not respond if they know that the claim is for a big loss.
