Brought a JUMBO 1.5kVA 3 months back from “APC - Bicron Industrial Company” 3, Nandini Mansion, Airport-ITPL Main Road, Marathalli, , Bangalore. During the purchase the person on the counter promised for all support on the product. You name about the support it thy have it there (24/7, anytime availability over phone etc)
E.g. 1. “You call me any time in my mobile, within same day our technician will be there at your door step”
E.g.2. “Every month our technician will visit your place for maintenance of batteries, you don’t worry”
Everything was fantastic during the purchase, people delivered the product and installed within few hours “as promised”.
Problem started when I called up the same person when there was some issue with the inverter. When I was trying to explain the issue, he asked me to call him back after few hours as he is out of office. [that means I have to wait till he is back to office, ohhh! Doesn’t matter how long I have to wait in dark] when I tried to remind him about the promises made during the purchase, then he gave me some other number and ask me to call there. I did the same dialed the same number given by the ‘gentleman’, but you know what, the number was for a fax line. I tried twice, trice but a fax is a fax!!! . I got a new number when I called the ‘gentleman’ again. This time it was a land line, but no buddy was there to pickup the phone to give you support (what about 24/7!!!!!!). So again back to the ‘hero’, now that’s my time to surprise, he told me to wait for some time and try to connect them again, [I have to re-dial again and again still I have charge in my mobile] and when I raise my voice, he told me clearly not to call him again, I should only call on the given number. He doesn’t like customer like me who talk to him with high voice etc etc, after so much drama, he is expecting me to have some patience and talk to the ‘gentleman’ ‘gently’ !!!
anyway, that was my mistake that I brought the ‘local’ product for my home, now I am to suffer. My sincere suggestion, if you have money then go for APC they are the best ( I am using thr product since ages for my computer) product wise or support wise thy are superb, if you don’t have money, spend less and wait till you have enough money to go for APC or any other top brands.
