I am an avid fan of technology.with s single click of a button you can do lots of things.by using the banks portal you can do lots of things like money transfer, pay bills etc........... so u feel everything is being done so easily then also why these guys are cribbing......there is a catch in every growth.......... for ex.
If you are using ICICI bank portal and want to transfer money to another ICICI account then it works fine..........if the account is some otehr bank then the problem starts.........transfer some amount from ICICIC bank to say SBI bank account.............if the internet is slow then the page will hang or show error in the middle of the transaction........now the problem starts b’cos the money is deducted from ICICI but has not been deposited in SBI(even after waiting for 2 days) then you need to call the customer care of ICICI and tell you problem with the transaction ID and they will say from our end we have done please contact SBI..........so when you call SBI people it has not reached us..... then you cannot solve the problem over phone so u have to run to the branch and then start fighting all over again to get it done.
What I am trying to say is use the internet technology but be careful and see what is the service u are using...........if it is airtell bill or water and electric bill then it is ok as they will have a tie up but with money tranfer to other bank it is no the case as they have to send the cheque through RBI channel and lots of confusion and terms they will tell which you don’t understand when u run into probelm.....so be careful while transferring the money over internet to other banks other then the same bank account.
