Choosing Online HeadAche

This new concept of Online Bill Payment is Dot com marketing. It has its own pros and cons.

Pros.

No need to stand in queue.

Billing statement available.

Cons.

1.Billing Statement does not necessarily shows details

like payment to MTNL or BSES, etc.

2.No tracking system in case of loss of description.

3.No support from Website management in case of information not updated at service provider like MTNL or BSES.

4.One has to suffer a lot for re-connection of service back to normal. In case the Electricity being disconnected, one has to show the proof, which is normally recognized by the operating staff at BSES /MTNL, since it is Internet print.

This is due to lack of awareness in the society.

When questioned this query to ICICI bank, the manager is not ready to support for solving the problem with MTNL or BSES for not getting the information updated after the said transaction is complete.

Additionally ICICI staff has practise to add the transaction details without specifying either it is for MTNL or BSES. One cannot show the latest printout available as mini-statement at ATM counters.

Think in case of disaster, one has to run more than 10 times of what he saved by not standing in queue.

The fantastic method is use drop-in cheque boxes available at BSES or MTNL or ATM centres.

Use the cheque of different bank, so that the bank statement or the Saving Accounts pass book reflects the entry of payment done to MTNL or BSES.
