Gift ideas for a wife is indeed a complex issue, but still I feel the best gift I would give my wife would be my time.( I know I am not giving her enough of it).
Due to hectic schedules, work commitments and other issues, I find that many of us do not spend enough time with our spouses.On a special day or occasion, my wife would certainly would want me to be there with her and spent some memorable moments with her which I am sure would indeed be the best gift for her.So I would take a day off to see to that I spend some really good time with her and make her that special person of my life.
The other gift I would like to give my wife is some real good laughter( not that we dont laugh and enjoy), we in this times of stress, strain, work pressures etc do not laugh enough and relax, I feel laughter is one such medicine to drive all our blues away. I would like to gift this and see that she relaxes, forgets her tensions maybe momentarily and feel much better.
If you are good at cooking, on her special day, gift her by cooking a favorite dish of hers. I have learned cooking one of her favorite dishes:)
If you have the poet in you, pen a poem and sing it for her. I am not good at this, but you could be .
All these will make her feel special and shall be a really a memorable moment for her
The above gifts are not materialistic.
Among the materialistic gifts I generally give Roses.
I also give cards, I remember having given her as many cards as her age on one of her birthdays, with one specially designed for her and she still cherishes that moment of her life.
Also a gift that she feels priceless, is one audio cassette with all her favorite numbers which are rare and lovely, with a few lines of my voice recorded specially for her.It took me a few days to organise the collection, but made sure that it was ready for the occasion.
Clothes, perfumery, jewellery, dinners, outings, shopping are gifts which many give often, but one thing I think all wives would like is getting a unique gift from her spouse which not many possess.
Note: Give gifts during the occasion and not before or after the occasion. It may not have the same value.
All this apart from gifts in the form of Love and Loyalty which a wife I feel should get everyday
