Some gifts that I would get a child under ten are various for all ages. I have found that most children love crayons and markers. What better gift than to give them Crayola® products. Or other brands will do as well. Depends on the money situation you know.

Each color is incased in a long, slender pencil like container made of hard plastic. On the inside of the pencil you can see the color crayon, which is long and slender as well. The crayon is surrounded by a different plastic container like that of an ink pen(the part that holds the ink) and on the top of the crayon you will find a cap like twister that allows you to make the crayon go out or back into the container, like that of an ink pen by twisting it back and forth. Turning to the right allows the crayon to come out and back to the left makes the crayon go back.
Each container is the same color as the crayon, except for the top, which is clear. You will also find the Crayola® name on each crayon “Crayola® Twistables™ Metallic.”
The crayons have their own reusable pouch, which is a clear vinyl that has a flap that closes over the top.
Another gift is: Crayola® Markers, are non-toxic markers that come in many colors and you can purchase washable markers which is really great for the Moms. I personally will purchase no other kind.
Crayola® Markers are “High Tech colors in a broad line marker that is perfect for drawing and coloring large areas.” You can use them for posters, cards, calendars, marking boxes and the list is endless. (You can also buy the markers that are designed for marker boards dry eraser.)
Each marker is made of a hard plastic with a colored lid that indicates the color of the marker. The name of the color is also written on the marker. The colors are: Orange Circuit, Radio Active Royal, Infra Red, Ultra Violet, Megabyte Magenta, Laser Lemon, Graphic Green, Hot Pink, Electric Lime and Battery Charged Blue.
Do not shake the markers. And do not let little ones get a hold of them either. The Crayola® markers meet the safety standards of ASIM D-4236 and performance standards of the ANSI Z-3565 and are non-toxic.
One thing that is good about these markers is that you can clean the walls if you find the mark in time. I take a little comet cleanser and a sponge and a little warm water. Sometimes you may have to put a little muscle into it, but you must be careful as to not damage your walls more. You can also clean most marker marks off of vinyl furniture or leather as well.
Crayola® markers contain colorants which may stain.
Another gift: Crayola® Washable Glitter Glue™ 5 Count Super Sparkle are acid free and of course great for decoration. Your child and/or children will be able to come up with wonderful ideas for hours of entertainment. Also great for teachers at school or church. Can use on paper or cloth or t-shirts.
Unlike the “Bold Colors” these are bright and vibrant and exciting! The colors are: Blue,
Pink, Yellow, White and Green.
They are in a clear soft plastic tube with a clear screw on cap. Before you use them you will need to unscrew the nozzle and then remove the inner cap from the tube. They are like the “Crazy Glue™” tips where you need to clip the tip in order for the glue to come out. They are so very easy to use. Simply squeeze the amount of glue you desire onto the paper you are using. You can take your fingers and spread around if needed.
You can use as an adhesive or for many different decorations. If they get clogged you can insert a paper clip or straight pen in the tip to clean.
Children are so created so keep the gift of art going with: Crayola® Click em On™ Washable Markers. They link together at the top and bottom of the markers. This allows your child to not only color with them but also to build with them. My son can spend a long with these markers.
They are thin tip and I recommend not pressing down hard with them. They are also washable.

Contains small parts, not recommended for children under 3 years of age. Markers should not be shaken. The caps must also be put back on tightly to secure the ink and allow for a long lasting effect in your child’s life.

I have received lots of wonderful, colorful pictures over time by passing out these gifts to the boys and girls at school and church. Even the grandbabies love getting them! Remember that there are small parts sometimes with these products so don’t let the really little children play with them. And no matter the child or the gift, choose something that will bring them smiles as well, for that is the most important thing in choosing a gift of a child under 10. They can be so picky you know!
