There’s a cool new site called India Resorts Survey( http://www.indiaresortssurvey.com) that lists over 1130 holiday and leisure resorts all across india. Travellers can find find places to stay by location, type of resort, tariff and travellers ratings.
I found the site extremely cool and uncluttered and the search is a dream - allowing you to not just search by parameters of your choice, but letting you refine your search results as well - helping you narrow the search to exactly the right resort you are looking for.
It won’t take even a newbie any time to get the hang of the search, and the information on resorts, though limited and seemingly sparse has the complete address and telephone number, as well as the website url wherever available.
Best of all, its a great looking site, with none of the clutter and zillions of unnecessary links one finds on the regular travel websites.
They also have some great leisure and lifestyle related offers from time to time.
