Big Looters in Pune
I had given my Maruti Alto Lxi for servicing to Chougule Service station in Ambegaon, Pune. The car remained there for 2 days, I don’t how normal servicing should take 2 days and the bill was astonishing.
They had repaired(?) lot of things which I had not specified(I don’t know how they came on the ’job card’) and the reason they gave was "I thought repairing was essential". The things like AC servicing and Wheel Balancing were specifically told NOT to be done but still they did. They didn’t agree that we had told them NOT to do wheel balancing or AC servicing.
Lot of other things which were not required were also repaired and were billed. The bill came to around 7000 without replacing any major part. The only replacement was of the coolant and engine oil.
Without even opening the machinery they suggest lot of spare replacement. For example, without even looking at the care the person had suggested to replace clutch and break liner. I rejected that because I had replaced them 6 months back and after that the car had ran only 500km. They are still in very good state.
I would suggest everybody not to give your vehicle to Chougule service center. They are big looters. Their main aim is to somehow prepare bill greater than 5K-6K.
