I dont really have much to say about Chuck E Cheese....
except YUKKY food..but good for a kids party! Its probably got the worst pizza around. But, I guess its not known for its good food.
Chuck E Cheese is known (at least here in the US) for its kids birthday parties, and its characters walking around entertaining the kids and its games.
I remember many years ago, (about 19 years as a matter of fact.)I decided to have a birthday party for my daughter Beanz at Chuck E Cheese.
We made a list of all her friends and sent out invitations. I then called and made birthday reservations.
It was for 15 kids and their parent(s).
For every 8 people youd get a large cheese pizza, a pitcher of soda and about 40 game tokens. So with 15 kids and 15 (+ -) parents we got 4 pizzas, 4 pitchers of soda and 160 game tokens. You would also get a visit from a couple of the Chuck E Cheese characters, a birthday cake and balloons. Now remember, this was 19 years ago....The party wound up costing me $75.00 (US). That was A LOT of money for a 5 year olds birthday party back then!
And let me tell you, even the kids didnt like the pizza! It was a very thin crust (too crunchy) with a tiny bit of sauce and cheese, and no taste!
But, the kids did have a good time playing the games and running around making a mess and a lot of noise.
As I said, Chuck E Cheese is a good place to have a kids birthday party, if you dont mind spending a little more money than you really want to. The kids do have fun playing and running around, and the only saving grace is that I didnt have to clean up the mess.
The restaurant itself is 100% kid friendly. There is nothing for an adult to do! (Including eating....YUK) The kids get to play all kinds of games like skee ball, pin ball, hammer the hamster, etc.
Would I have another kids party there? Yup, I sure would.(If I had any more young kids) As long as the kids have fun and I dont have to clean up after them.
