Chunci falls is one of the must visit destination which is just 85-90 kms from Bangalore. Any one who is travelling towards Sangama and Mekedatu can stop by this place and have a small trek and then enjoy the scenic beauty of the rocky slopes along side of the falls.
The fall is a very nearly 50 feet high which is located on the path of the Akravati after which it finally meets the Kaveri river at Sangama.

Cars and bikes both can ply to this place but the village road just before the parking place is a little sloppy and becomes slippery during the rains.
There is a dedicated Parking place for all the vehicles and you will be charged INR10 per vehicle.
At the entrance from where the trekking starts there are Shops where in you will find Tea, snacks and also Lunch.
We need to walk for a Kilometer or so to reach the point from where the falls can be seen.
There is a watch tower which allows the visitors to have a good view but guys please be cautious as the tower is not in a good position.
You will find rocky slopes which might be a nightmare to the people who are afraid of heights and also steepy rocky slopes, but you can click some nice INSTA snaps.
Nothing much to see in that place but you will find yourself amidst the rocky slopes and deep gorges.
