I went to Chung Fa recently, have been going there for almost 16 years now, - had to wait for almost twenty minutes before I could get a table - surprising since it was a Wednesday. Unfortunately, they do not accept reservations - on an average, expect a 15-20 minute wait on weekends.
Chung Fa has always had a very extensive menu, thecurrent menu seems to have expanded further- they are now serving chinese sizzlers. We tried the Spicy Prawn Sizzler (Rs 210) and the BlacK Pepper chicken Sizzler ( Rs 185). Both were excellent and value for money. The portions were so much that we had difficulty finishing it. The sizzlers come with an option for Fried rice/ steam/fried noodles- try the noodles, the meal is then complete in all respects. The service was also quick and efficient - though like the ambience - nothing exceptional. For those of us for whom food is the primay criteria - Chung Fa is complete value for money.
