The Indian adaptation of Chinese Food

Chung Wah Bangalore has atleast 3 branches that I know of. The one near Jyotinavas is the one I like best.

Chinese food was brought to India by the employees /workers of the East India Company who came from China. However they could not find all the necessary ingredients they  customarily used in China and so replaced some with local items and  gradually adapted the taste to suit the Indian palate,

Chinese food in Chinese Restaurants Singapore, is entirely different from the Chinese food at Chung Wah. The Chung Wah food is really tasty as it is not so bland and sweetish as the real Chinese food. What 4 of us had last Sunday for lunch

Soup- Sweet Corn Chicken Soup- 2 plates divided into 4 bowls- (Per plate Rs. 88/ ) Rs. 176

Starters: Fish Fingers ( about 10 pieces seer fish)- Rs. 195

Chung wah fried rice 1 plate: Rs. 115/ Chicken Chowmien (Noodles) 1 plate : Rs. 100/

Crispy Devils (Mutton in gravy) Rs. 210/, Prawn Pepper Fry Rs. 205.

For a total of Rs. 1001/ the four of us (My son, wife, husband and myself) had a full, tasty meal. Service fast, ambiance OK. Value for money.
