I had tried this place out for a cousins engagement party, else I wasnt sure if I wouldve visited this place other wise or now, but Im quite glad that I did. This place is just one floor with a lot of floor space.
Im assuming they had booked the entire floor for the engagement because I did not see any other people there apart from those who came for the engagement.
I was in fact quite surprised that a buffet restaurant actually was flexible enough to allow a party like that which makes me feel the Chutney Chang has pretty good management.
As for the food, there is no complaint really. Food which is a mix of Indian and Chinese, what more can one want. There was a variety of biriyani to fried rice and manchurians, and not only for the non veg lovers, there was so much variety for vegetarian people as well.
I enjoyed their seating arrangement they had made, just like a marriage hall. There was seperate seating for people to sit in front of the bride and groom, whereas there was also place for dining area separately.
Their desserts were also quite delicious, with a variety of chocolate cakes and pastries. Probably the only thing I didnt like was the drinks. The orange juice or whatever it was was quite average.
All in all, a nice place to visit once in a while when you want to make your stomach explode:P
