When a product is purchased it is not done with the intention to return the same.
I purchased a black viscose lycra solid pant from Cilory. When the product came it appeared to be fine and hence the tag was removed and thrown for use. After a few days when I wore the pant the bottom of the leg, near the slit was jutting out. It was pointing out like a dog ear. Whe the same was being folded for return, i noticed that there were holes on the back of the pant. I immediately booked a return and also called to speak to the company. I on my own informed them that since the product was opened earlier than it was used the tag was not available. I was informed that the tag is required for resale. I reiterated that the product was defective as it had holes and cannot be resold, so the tag should not be a hinderance. The executive expressed his inability to take a call and assured that a senior would call back. The senior Mr. Sagar called and the matter was again explained to him. He said that he would speak to the management or whoever and revert by day end. There was no response till the end of next day till I called again.
Finally it was reiterated that since the tag is not available the product cannot be returned.
The company is a total cheat and frauds. They send defective products and do not take it back and if taken back at all, want to pass it on to other customers.
Their intention is very clear from their approach to this issue. Also, if you see, if at all they return the refund, it is only in their own wallet to ensure that the customer gets only the pathetic products that they sell and finally give up and they are able to cash on.
All in all, very unprofessional and a cheat and fraud company.
