I have watchd 5 movies such as Aval, Sangali Bingali Kadhava Thera, Magalir Mattum, Bahubali 2 and Spyder in Cinepolis Orion East Mall as this is nearby to my residence. The ticket fair is decent on week days i.e., 180 for normal, 200 for silver and 230 for gold but it is too much over the weekend i.e., 260 for all the category of seats. The ticket price will be increased to 260 even on weekend for big actors movie such as Mersal where I paid 260 per ticket. Another hurdle in Cinepolis is, the snacks price. The had put 2 Pepsi and 1 large pop corn cost as 420rs in the poster/label/advertisement but after the bill they ask for 520 if I ask them they it is including tax and pop corn flavour price. First of all we are paying more for pop corn and pepsi but they put extra taxes as well. In spite of that they dont even allow out side snacks inside the auditorium. I have a son and I took him for a movie. He is just 2 years old and I have kept a dairy milk chocolate inside the bag so that I can give it to him while watching the movie but the theatre security did not allow us to take the simple chocolate inside. The cinepolis canteen also doesnt have chocolates. They are forcing the audiences to buy the products of their own which is too costly. Yesterday I brought a piece of cake which will cost 45 rs in Ammas or Just Bake but cinepolis cost me 140 for a simple chocolate cake. Seats are not that comfortable when compared to PVR theatres. Thank you.
