To make a long one short..my son lost or misplaced his cell phone day before Thanksgiving and waited to tell me ON Thanksgiving! I immediately called Cingular to report this and to suspend service..I happily began pressing the buttons to report a lost or stolen phone, , only to get ’’ALL OFFICES ARE CLOSED DUE TO THE THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY!!!!!! So, here was Thanksgiving ruined due to worry this! I called next day and luckily no one used the phone! HOWEVER..I informed Cingular representative that in the event it was used, I would not be responsible as I COULD NOT report it lost on Thanksgiving..he said
OH yes you are’’!!!!!!! Needless to say, I am done with Cingular! A word to the wise ’Don’t lose or have anyone steal your cell on a holiday’’ As if someone would really plan to do this!
