Quickly skimming the other reviews, Im really surprised at what I see.
Ive been with Cingular since they bought Att Wireless a few years back. I was with Att Wireless for 6 years before then.
I must say, I dont have too many problems. Every issue was resolved within a good time and without much pain. I added my sister to the plan and she went over the minutes (due to work mostly), and they credited me $500 in overage and wound up paying $55 extra. not bad!!!
Theyre phones are pretty good. I went to india recently and didnt have to do a thing and it still worked!! ABCD in India, it was comforting having my own phone. (especially with the new rules for getting a phone in india!! resident, picture, passport!!! thats crazy).
So whats bad? The phones could be better. In areas where cingular isnt one of the majority stakes, you have to work the phone before it works. A sneaky thing is changing the network settings (dont do this if your not comfortable) to manually select networks.
