CCNA certification which is considered to be the first step in mastering Cisco products used to be a tough exam in early days of its origin. But these days clearing the certification has become a simpler job and in present times it has become more of a fashion rather than an elite certification.
People who have never seen a router, never worked on it are clearing this exam without any problems. Thanks to the Simulators and the crams. If this was not enough, people have started bringing Network trainers/teachers to write the exam for them by paying some money and they get the certification.
There is no problem as far as the jobs are concerned. Definitely a certification alone wont give a job directly to any candidate, he/she has to go thru an interview and selection process. But it definitely gives someone a right to compete where he should not have been. And secondly it puts a big question mark on the Cisco exam itself.
Cisco needs to put some checks to keep exam?s credibility.
