Unsolicited calls...

I recieve on an average 3-4 calls a week from Citibank and its representatives offering loans and other products. I find this thoroughly invasive. Many times, I have take these calls when am out of town - thereby paying for roaming charges while taking these calls.


I called up customer service telling them to block my name from blind calls from their reps. I was told that I should write a specific letter that I want to be blocked !!!


I find this attitude extremely arrogant. Here I am as a customer doing business with you. My details are being misused by Citiban in terms of calling me at odd hours. And am supposed to take the trouble of writing to them ! Why doesn’t citibank write to me asking my permission !!!???


I know that this misuse of customer information and invasive methods are not only the strategy adopted by Citibank. Am a victim of ICICI too.


We as Customers need to teach these banks a lesson on invasive marketing
