Ive been a Citibank Card member for close to 4 years and none of the occasions, could I face a situation when I needed to complain. Its services are one of the best and lowest in the credit card market in India. Timely, prompt and correct service is always at your disposal. Their recent provision of online access to their card information though not too helpful, is good to get all the information related to your card. Past statements close to the last two years are accessible. Citibanks telephonic helpline also is very helpful, friendly and kind. Though the bank claims it is available round the clock, Ive observed that if you give a call to the banks helpline at Chennai after 11pm, you are most likely to get a message - Kindly be on line. All citiphone officers are busy talking to other customers. We are eager to talk with you. But that will not happen in the next half an hour. You will end up listening to their pre-recorded messages. I dont of this situation at other places of Citiphone facility.
Another good feature of the card is getting personal loan upto your cash limit and the loan is at a very attractive interest rates.
Another advantage is you can pay your dues through ECS linked to any of your SB Accounts, thus not bothering you to remember having to send payment cheques every month. This is a great facility if you are a frequent traveller and cant keep track of due dates. This facility is not available with other credit cards.
Needless to talk about Reward points. For every 100 rupees you spend on your Citibank card, you get 1 Reward point which is equivalent to the value of one rupee. You can pay up the annual fee in exchange of these points, you need not pay the annual fee in cash.
Otherwise, all other facilities are of the lowest cost and highest quality.
I hold a Stanchart card too but is just hopeless compared to Citibank card in terms of facilities, quality of service and every other aspect.
