No assistance for a customer who walks in

During this phase of demonitization, I had gone to deposit a check to the bank. I was at the May I help you desk. The person was busy when I stepped to his desk, so I waited for him to get free. The response from this person was totally absurd. He continued working like there is nobody standing. After 5 minutes, I asked my question, the person walked away from his desk & went inside to chat with a friend. This was an akward situation. I was angry, but instead of arguing I just dropped my check & went away. Arguing with this person did not make sense.
