I am a customer of this *&&^%$% bank called Citibank for the past 6 years holding their credit card. So far no issues, but today 13-Oct-2008, they had sent an agent to my home in my absence. This collection agent was asking money from my wife for the dues of mine. I have already made this payment on 11-oct-2008 I have recieved an SMS confirming the reciept of payment and subsequently issued a new statement which I recieved today.
In fact my payment has delayed for 3 days from the due date and for that reason, I have deposited cash in the e-serve branch in Andheri to ensure that there wont be any further delay. I am totally upset that this Agent approached my home, I dislike this kind of beggars coming home. If he was in front of me am sure I would have beaten him black and blue. How dare he can ask money from my wife.
The other notable problem with this bank is their due dates, it never be the same every month. It keeps changes. How on earth a billing system that keep changes its due dates. If you look at all other billers, their due dates are same across all the months.
I have also my TTK healthcare mediclaim booked through this bank and been paying for it for the past 4 years. For the past two years am not getting my cashless card though I have recieved my policy document duly from New India.
I think this could be my last complaint about this bank since am not intending to keep their services anymore. This is the only Credit Card am posessing as of now. This is mainly because of airline booking and mediclaim payment. Am now looking forward for a better service provider. I can not say bye to CC since most of the travel booking portals has no debit card facility.
