This is with utmost disappointment to write that I had taken a loan of 25, 000 from the citi financial a franchisee for citi bank (as they call it) two years ago from bangalore indiranagar branch as a personal loan, I was not able to pay up after a year as I lost my job and requested the manager to give me some time, but after a few months, as usual the papers were passed to recovery people who in turn turned out to be goondas.
Thay harassed me and the people who had signed for me asking me to pay double the amount, what I owed the bank and they even asked me for extra money as allowances, I some how managed to pay them the money after negotiating, with much difficulty selling all my jewels, the bank had handed over my photograph to them, im a married lady with 2 kids and my husband was quite annoyed, when everything is settled now these people have my photograph and are comming to my house looking for money, showing my photograph to my neighbours, and enquiring about me.
I really dont understand what they want, its been 10 days now, they really look heafty and like police, my neighbours feel it was the police looking for me and my reputation is under threat, I have nothing to do with the bank its over , but because of a little money im trapped, if this is the case with me then imagine the plight of people who have taken more, why are the banks opting for goondas called recovery agents? in the name of finance and loand people are threatened, they call us and provoke us to take loand with promises, please help me Im mentally traumatised by this.
Im writing this cause even after 2 years these people are looking for a way to make money , threatning innocent people who fall for the trap CITI FINANCIAL , some people may even commit sucide cause they are looking for us with photographs its a question of respect, and personal life being hampered, what is the police doing, they are even a part of this cause they came along with these recovery agents as well, can anyone tell me what do I do, its going to hamper my family life as well
