The worst bank of India - Citibank



  1. No privacy.( They give your contact details to all Loan / Credit card agencies).




  2. Daily once you get call from Citibank offering Credit cards with different schemes.




  3. Daily Once you receive call from Citibank offering Health insurance and home loan.




  4. They have less branches than any local bank. Half of the major cities don’t have Citibank branches. That is really trouble you in long run.




  5. They will encourage you to use Citibank ATM for cash and cheque deposits. And you will never find a security guard at any of ATM for any help.




  6. If the cheque you deposited is not valid, they won’t inform you unless you call Citibank customer care. Now fun starts, you should call Customer care give all details and wait in a hold for hours then you will receive the answer saying “Thanks for using Citibank, we have started investigating your issue. It will take 3 working days to complete the investigation. You will receive the reference number on your registered mobile number for further follow-up’s ”, that’s it, you have to wait for hours for reference number which you will never receive and call Citibank again and complete the process again. After multiple follow-up’s they will say some silly reason and blame on you. You lost your cheque.




  7. If you use Citibank debit card at other bank ATMs to draw the money, you will receive the mail from Citibank with list of nearest Citibank ATMs. And Citibank ATMs are best in the country, they don’t recognize Citibank cards, which we can comfortably use the same cards at other bank ATMs.
