These are the problems with citibank:
they have poor customer service
you never get solutions to online queries, only repetitive and dumb answers
you can not register another citibank account holder to your payee list(strangest thing I have ever seen in any bank).
They send credit cards to suvidha bank customers without their permission
Phone banking people dont call back even after reconfirming twice of a call back. It took me more than 15 calls and 5 emails to follow up and close a simple credit card upgrade. I wished I was never offered the same.
They change their online services without any notice to customers. Credibility seems to becoming an issue with the bank.
ATM network is one of the worst in the city(this doesnt matter much now)
Too many layers between customers and actual decision makers, which makes concern resolution a painstainkingly slow and uncomfortable process. The entry level staff is untrained and unable to take any real decisions.
the entire citibank service team needs a complete overhaul. If citibank does not work on this soon, they will start loosing customers, & I will definitely be one of them.
