This bank su*ks......I had taken a personal loan on phone at 9% reducing rate of interest 2 years back and now I wanted to preclose this account. These smart guys forced me to cough up pre closure charges of 4%.....advance interest....service tax.....and the principal.....On top of that they require 1 month advance notice period to close the account!!...Can you believe it. I still wanted to prepay and get out of the hellhole....Their customer care guys up in Chennai were "Polite" enough to respond that I can’t prepay online and I’ll have to present myself to the bank for garlanding my foot.
Anyways I went there (Hyderabad branch in Raj Bhavan Road) only to find a serpentine queue and nothing multinational about it. I waited for 1/2 hr in sweat only to be told to come again the next day....
Can’t believe it.....
