*I was work for a call center with monthly incone over 30, 000. One of the Citibank sales executives offered me citibank application in front of my office and called it as a special card for working women. I’v taken the card & also used it for several payments. The balace amounted to Rs.19, 000( 3 years back)
Problem
1.The call center people at citibank give worg information and do not record what u speak to them. Next time when you try asking for the previous details , no answers but keep u on hold blame the prevoius executives for not recording the details., will also tell u that ’ will call u back with correct details after checking’’ AND THE STORY STARTS FROM HERE ONWARDS...
My problem was that I once did not have enough money in my account from where the ECS instruction was given. So I stared paying directly at e-server , somajiguja , hyderabad my emi for that month . Next month I called to reconfirm the same with the call center and a lady mention to me " no problem u can drop ur cheque on ATM at Road #1 , opp to music world , Banjara Hills Hyderabad.
I received a call again after 3 days asking for payment and I mention about my last call with them. This person gave me a diffirent story this time and asked me to pay the amount for 6 months at the e-server counter n my cheques will not be honoured. When I questioned ’why was I given wrong information last time , pls expline only then will I pay the bills, Im ready to pay the whole and close this card ’ There after I received no calls for several weeks. ( I STOPED USING THE CARD) Since it was a big blunder commited from their end they do not have any answer.
After fews weeks citibank calls me , not with the details I asked for but forthe outstanding money , I questined them again. this continued for days, months ... and finaly I receive no calls now. But very sweetly I get lelters on my previous address which I colled it when I happen to meet the owners . The summary has almost every thing except my querry - Outstanding balance summary with late payment chared and peneltay charges etc..., FROM 19, 000 THE AMOUNT IS NOW 50, 000 ABOVE ...( WITH NO FAULT OF MINE I AM BEING CHARED PENALTY)
Now it is almost 3 years ABOVE that I have not got any explaintion for the error
I REALY WISH SOME CAN HELP ME OUT TO RESOLVE THIS PROBLEM.
