Citi Rewards Card promises - 10 Reward Points for every Rs125 spent at apparel and department stores and 50 other partners. I recently did transaction at D-Mart and Haiko, big departmental stores of Mumbai but didn’t get promised reward points.
Surprised, checked their website as well as customer care to find out names of 50 partners and guess what. the website list only 3 names and that too all Online e-commerce sites.
I asked the CC guy name of any 2 big departmental stores which are covered and he had no answer. This seems to be case of cheating customers - how come D-Mart and Haiko not be departmental store?
Pls avoid this card unless there is list of stores known in writing.
