I have just returned home after staying at the Citrus Lonavala for a day. I wish my travel agent had not recommended this hotel. We reached the hotel at around 2 pm yesterday and since we had opted for a package that included lunch and dinner for the four of us, we inquired about the lunch. We were informed that it will be ala carte.
At the dining area, we were handed the menu card and once we got to selecting our food, we were informed that we cannot have our choices. We, then, asked them to give them whatever they want to give us. The waiter called the Manager who informed us that they have certain restrictions when it is a package. After pushing him into giving us what we wanted, we went to the room to find it to be a very small room and not like the one posted on their website. We had two rooms and both the rooms had window airconditioners but the stink from the bathroom pervaded the rooms.
Since we had started out stay with a fight, we did not want to take the matter up and decided to adjust with what they have. I would not recommend Citrus Lonavla to anyone who cannot ’adjust’,
