City centre is probably the oldest mall in Kolkata. It is more like an outlet mall which we normally find in USA or other countries. There is a wide variety of brands of different ranges available. The shops are organised also in a very classy way. The one thing which I like most about this place is the open hangout area in the front where all the functions, book/music album launch etc take place. It is the best place in the city according to me if you want to hand out with your friends also do a bit of shopping and watch movie if you like to. There are a plenty of options available as far as food is concerned. My personal favourite is Afraa - it offers a lounge and a disco as well.
One thing I want to mention is that it might seem a little on the expensive side for the young crowd like students as most of the restaurants are a little expensive. But the "hangout" place is really nice and it offers great food and ambience too. Overall it is an all time favourite place for me whether it is watching movie in INOX or shopping or simply eating out.
