City Lake Restaurant in Vastrapur is one of the decent restaurants in the vicinity. I have been here once with my colleagues when I had visited Ahmedabad on an official tour. The food served here is traditional gujrati food. One thing I loved about this restaurant is that it is very clean and hygienic restaurant. The moment you enter, a very mild and sweet fragrance of incense sticks or agarbatti will hit you and you will feel enchanted.
The interiors are not very fancy, yet the food served is just like the one you will find in any gujrati household. We ordered for a Thali and we saw 2-3 preparations of vegetables, dal, rotis in ghee, curd, raita, a sweet and rice in the thali. It was very moderately charged, just Rs160 per thali, which I thought was very rightly charged for amazing food.
I will surely visit this restaurant again whenever I am in Ahmedabad again, and I suggest everyone to visit this restaurant for amazing and mouth watering Gujarati cuisine.
