Dear all investors,
I have one question relating to our investment that when we have invested money in the companys products, they have assured us monthly EMI payments. ( most of us have invested in it by taking loans from outside financers). Now the payments has stopped. Some of the investors are saying now even if we will get the payment we will get it back at 7% rate of interest on the balance principal.
When the payment was regularily received we have not bothered that out of our EMI how much is the principal and how much is the interest. So now we can not ascertain how much amount to be received as balanced principal?
I am giving my example that I have invested Rs. 256831/- in combo in sept 08. and I received monthly EMI of Rs. 16541/- for 11 months totaling to Rs. 181951/-. so now what is the principal outstanding. if this all is principal, where is the interest gone? ( because we are paying EMI to financers inclusive of ineterst and principal amount)
Does it mean that if a person has got 16 EMI mean he has got all his principal back? please guide us on this.
Thanks and regards.
