I have taken loan to invest in city limousines foolishly thinking that this will give better returns than the interest I have to repay for the loan. But we have been fooled by this company which had gained our trust before doing the disappearing act.
I have bounced cheques of the company and am yet to decide whether to consult an advocate to file my case to add to the rest of the cases against the company. Wish someone could help me to make this decision. I heard that even if the court gives a favourable judgement to the investors, only the people who have filed and registered cases against the company would stand to benefit.
Otherwise, how will the court know the names of the people who have been cheated by the company? It is hoped that the court will appoint a tribunal to collate the assets of the company and then request through public advertisement for all the people to come forward with proof of their investment.
It is hoped that the court will decide the proportion/methodology to be adopted for return of investment which is unambiguous and fair. I have great trust and faith in our judiciary and hope this will occur soon.
