Myself is a professionally qualified financial professional. I am also an investor in city group. On existing crisis I have already published my views on 21st Sept 09 under heading "Support City Group to stand them again". I would really appreciate if you could read the same, if you hadn’t done that before.
Looking at the existing court proceedings, news paper updates, I must say the situation has been turned from bad to worst. The reasons for the same is very simple, impatience from frustrated investors. Plz always keep one thing in mind that every new case registered against the company will cause halt of atleast 6 months for getting our money back.
Meanwhile I would like to bring to your notice the unprofessional and unethical practices followed by "Times of India" which claims it is a leading nationwide read newspaper. Mr C unnikrishnan (TOI- reporter) is giving update on company’s judicial proceedings on daily basis . When the 1st case was filed against the City group in 2007 (By Stupid & illitrate Jalandhar Pansare who failed to interpret the legal language of agreement) , TOI by that time had reported that incidence in similar pessimistic way what they are doing today. If City Group was following fraudlent attitude to its investors then what was the reason for winning the case in High Court. TOI after verdict was announced in City Group’s favour in 2007 case never reported abt the same in their following editions.
*THE 1ST NEWS ON CHEQUE BOUNCING WAS REPORTED BY TOI (C.UNNIKRISHNAN) UNDER HEADING " SORRY THERE IS NO QUICK MONEY, NOW WHOM TO BLAMED ?".
I MUST SAY ALL PUBLIC SHOULD BLAME TIMES OF INDIA. THIS IS BECAUSE THEY WERE PUBLISHING ADVERTISING FOR THE COMPANY FROM LAST 8 YEARS. WASN’T IT THEIR RESPONSIBILITY TO VERIFY THE CO’S BUSINESS BEFORE GIVING ADVERTISING IN THEIR OWN EDITIONS??? SINCE PEOPLE FOLLOW WHAT IS GIVEN IN NEWSPAPERS IT IS ABSOLUTELY EXPECTED FROM LEADING NEWSPAPERS THAT THEY SHOULD VERIFY THE CONTENTS OF THEIR ADVERISEMENTS"
