The movie is good. A one time watch. What I didnt like about the movie was that Mumbai was shown in a very negative way, I mean yes it is difficult to survive in Mumbai, but one thing needs a mention that its the fast lifestyle in the metro that makes the people like that(ie selfish/crooks etc).
There’s a positive side also. I personally think that the director should have showcased some positive points about the city, its people, its culture etc. Just showing how bad the city can get doesn’t help. Rest of the story is good, shows how a poor family with hardly any money come all the way from Rajasthan to Mumbai for a livelihood but all they get is hell! Songs are very good.
Watch the movie for the performances .Rajkumar needs a special mention; a versatile actor from a Gujju boy in Kai po che to a typical Rajasthani man in Citylights. He sure has a lot of talent, the actress Patralekha is also very good.
