I was cleaning my 16 year olds bathroom (mothers have to do this you know because they will not and after a long great while one really gets tired of looking at it!) and came across her Herbal Essences® shampoo. Now remembering those fantastic commercials I figured why not try it! I did and guess what? I bet you are wondering if I got that same sensational wash just like on TV. NOPE don’t count on it! But had you going though didn’t I!
The shampoo was not bad at all. Granted there were no great looking men around to wash my hair for me, except my wonderful, handsome husband, but he was busy so I did it myself and found that this shampoo was actually pretty good.

Now let me tell you about this shampoo. It smells like roses which is really nice. It is not heavy feeling on my hair in which I love. The shampoo lathered well and rinsed well. Leaving my hair feeling well, which I also like.
When I used the hair dryer there was no frizzing, no fuss, no nothing except great looking hair. And since I had my hair highlighted this same bottle of shampoo worked for color and my dry hair. Great!
I like the product, I trust the name, and although no young men are going to come into my home, meaning I will have to settle for the older man who already lives here, which by the way is just fine with me, the shampoo is good and one can use it themselves with no problems.
Clairol is a name that has been around for a long time. They make lots of wonderful products for the hair, nails, etc. I don’t use all of their products but a few now and again I do.
Keeping this shampoo to myself was not possible, I had to go and buy my own. At my local Wal-mart the cost is $1.47 for 12 fl oz (355ml), which is not a bad price at all. Check your local grocery stores and drug stores for prices to vary. And don’t forget to use those coupons as well. Oh don’t forget the men stay with the TV and do not get to come home with you. (We laugh each time we see those commercials for some of them are really stupid, but they do make you look, and they do make you want to try the product! I don’t know what that says about the consumers though, I mean, are we that stupid! No I think not, but we are willing to try new things along the way of life, and this shampoo is one of those things for me.)
Herbal Essences® shampoo bottles use 25% post consumer recycled plastic, and are recyclable. Check if recycling centers are available in your area. This is always a good thing. Helping the world to live better by doing our part.
