I used Herbal Essences Body Envy shampoo and conditioner for the first time about 8 to 9 months ago. I lived in Chennai, India which used to be extremely hot, humid and quite polluted. My hair texture is straight, very soft and thereby quite delicate towards any kind of shear stress. I had to travel long distances everyday in order to commute to college and that directly affected my hair. I tried a lot of products before I stumbled upon Herbal Essences, like Dove, Satinique by Amway, Himalaya and Biotique.

I’ve tried many variants of HB like Body Envy, Totally Twisted, Hello Hydration, Long Term Relationship and Tousle me Softly. Of the lot, I liked Tousle me softly and totally twisted the best, it made my hair feel just right after a wash. I found that the creamy shampoos work well for dry environments while the clear and colorful shampoos do good for humid conditions. I’m happily looking forward to growing my hair nice and long now.
