The Claridges provides a colonial-style welcome and as oasis of calm in New Delhi. The service throughout the hotel is excellent. We stayed for 2 nights before visiting the Golden Triangle then for one night in a different room before moving on. Both rooms were very well-appointed and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was superb in both quality and quantity. We also ate in their Pickwick Restaurant. Here again the food was lovely, although the prices are disgracefully expensive for India!
