They are very good and quick in taking a new booking, but find a million excuses to not refund!
Their tactic is simple- Pressurise the customer to make a booking in a hurry by repeteadly saying that the prices will go up if the booking is not done FAST. This makes the customer pay the money and book in a hurry, for less convenient dates and times. Later, if the customer realises that the dates are not suitable or convenient, Cleartrip charges them about 70% extra to "change" their booking. If you decide to cancel and book the ticket elsewhere, they charge you 90% as cancellation fees. They promise to refund 10%, but you would be extremely lucky to get it- they make you run pillar to post to get this 10%, which never turns up in your account, making you give up in the end!
Their policies for refund or ammendment are not clear and they charge what they like and claim that the charges are from airline!
Please Avoid in any case, I have lost Rs 1.5 Lacs due to these idiots and have taken them to court.
