Beware of these things when you are making a booking on the cleartrip website.
I made a booking for 3 people(all elderly people 60+) through cleartrip, the details of the same:
Place: Trivandrum
Hotel Name: Hotel Tara International, Kaimana, Thiruvananthapuram, 695018 Itinerary(Trip ID 1202158989) After reaching the place they found out that the hotel is closed since 2 years. When I contacted the customer care they kept my call on hold for 30 mins and they kept on transferring the call from one person to another. Nobody was taking responsibility for what happened. My relatives waited in Trivandrum for more than 2 hours for cleartrip to resolve the issue and finally they had to make a booking themselves.
After 3 hours I got a call from one cleartrip representative saying that he is ready to make a alternative booking in some other place, but it would take 30 mins more. I was in no mood to continue the call or book a hotel through them again. I am wondering what would have happened if such a thing happens if you make a international hotel booking through cleartrip?
Can someone let me know how can I sue them?
