Cleartrip said "buy 1, get 1 free". The trick is the way they split the "price" of travel. If you buy a ticket from delhi - mumbai, the price is rs. 500/- , and taxes & fees are rs. 5000/-. The free then is referring to rs. 500/-. But this info isn’t found anywhere, and you find out only when you actually pay for your free ticket.
For this one had to purchase a ticket on spicejet, and plan 30 days ahead.. Really? So you only save rs. 1000/- on a rs 11, 000/- round trip..
Smart asses of cleartrip.. I’m going to vote with my feet by buying tickets from makemytrip.com from now on.. So suck on that & caveat emptor
