Cleartrip policies and practices are cheating. Never book with them. You may get cheated. I booked a hotel in Mumbai through cleartrip. However, after a few days, I cancelled the booking by mistake. The website confirmed the cancellation without an alert that the booking was non-refundable. Immediately the mistake was identified.
When I called up Cleartrip, I was informed that the booking is cancelled, but no money can be refunded, and the entire 21, 000/- rupees have gone waste. I was told that the voucher mentioned the booking is non refundable.
I called up the hotel, who was ready to reinstate the booking, if they get a mail from Cleartrip. However, Cleartrip refused to send the mail to the hotel, and also refused to refund the money.
They are cheats. Beware.
