I have been using Cleartrips services for the last 5 years. I have been generally satisfied with the services. Recently I booked tickets for my family holiday and I had the following problems:
- I booked onward journey for 23rd Dec and when I was booking for return journey, the system showed me the month of Jan automatically. I presumed that the system is showing the dates for December and booked my return journey. Later I discovered that the return tickets were booked for January.
2. When I tried to cancel the ticket, I was levied a whopping charge of Rs. 350/- per ticket. The process of cancellation and refund were smooth. However, I was, and still am, unhappy with the cancellation charges which was not informed at the time of booking.
3. I realize that it is better to book directly with the airline and save the extra charges being levied by the other service providers.
