Unfortunately I booked a hotel(Mookambika palace) for one day stay via clear trip under trip ID "15031624104". They charged me Rs 2600. When I checked out, the hotel folks told me that Clear trip had transferred Rs 1890 to their account as advance payment and Rs 160 would be credited back to clear trip.
So the actual rent of the room is only Rs 1730 and clear trip had charged me extra of Rs 870. I called clear trip and they told me that this the contract between them and hotel and cant do anything. I told that if you had charged me an extra of Rs 200 I wouldn’t have cared but Rs 870 extra for the room was too much and is not acceptable. However they didn’t agree to refund the money.
I will not book via clear trip henceforth and I would not recommend clear trip to anybody. Be careful people. Please do not book via clear trip.
