I will never recommend Cloud Nine hospital to anyone. Cloud Nine - Money Minting Machine. My wife was admitted on 3rd October 14 for her delivery . It was my wife’s first delivery and we opted to deliver her from Cloudnine Malleshwaram.
Our experience: The screensaver was good but it was horrible to see behind the screensaver what was running.
Money .Money .Money . Thats it.
The collateral / brochure had all the information about the package and its cost - No doubt . For C-section they charge you around Rs 68 K. But when you come out of the hospital, you would have spent Rs 100000/- Beware of the cost that will shoot to your disappointment . If you have to stay there for more days due to some medical exigencies, ask for sharing room . it might save lot of cost. Be careful with the consumables that they use, though you dont have any control on what they use, sign the bill blindly.
They would promise you to provide some workshops for pregnant mothers which is part of the package . Even if you have paid the money in advance, they will never followup with you or request you to attend that . Ask the authorities how many people register for these workshops.
They would have promised you that, they will provide nursing services after delivery at home for 2 days. Neither will they provide you nor will they ask you if you need them. Its all left to you to check the brochure( the initial sales brochure) and ask them .
Bible says " Ask you will get ", . Here even if you ask, you will not get it it.
Consultants and Doctors have no time to spend with the patient nor have time to answer our queries. The house keeping did the worst job. They never bothered to clean the wash room and the commode for the entire 3 days.
Nurses spend 60% of their time keeping their documents right and getting the data entry done. When will they give attention to the mother and kid?. The Nursing home next door would have done a good job.
Some of the home instructions that were supposed to be given to mothers would never be given however, Cloud NIne has well qualified staff to handle it . But they are all busy . No time for you . The Consultants will have just 1 - 2 minutes for you .
They will ask you to go for extra tests like hearing test for the baby( optional) which will cost you Rs 1000/- But they will ask you to come some other day as the equipment would be under service maintenance.
Guthrie test will cost you Rs 5000/- and they will promise you that the report will be available within 2 weeks, Till date 15-Nov-14, neither I have got the call from the hospital informing about the report nor they have dispatched it to my house address. I would have followed up with the hospital for more than 6 times.
My baby had to go through Photo therapy sessions as her jaundice levels were high. I was shocked to see the bill when we were discharged from the hospital . Next time during the review, the medical reports showed the jaundice levels were high and the doctor referred the baby to get admitted in the Cloud Nine hospital. We took a cautious decision this time and we got her admitted in some other hospital near our residence . By doing so, we got the best of the best treatments for lesser money.
We could never be able to create a one -on-one relationship with the staff nor the doctors nor the management. "EVERYONE IS BUSY THERE" THE WORD PROFESSIONAL HAS A DIFFERENT MEANING IN CLOUDNINE.
Doctors/ Consultants/ Nurses / Staff need to gear up to the Vision and Mission of the founder, only then, it would be a conducive environment. This is my humble opinion.
Be careful, dont fall a prey to Cloud NIne marketing gimmicks.
