Zero Empathy Hospital

I just had a very scary and bad experience at Cloudnine and am still in shock about the severe lack of empathy shown, at a prenatal facility of such stature. It was raining very heavily in Gurgaon and as I was about to enter the facility I slipped and fell down!! I am 5 months pregnant and not a single staff member was available to help me. I entered the facility very distraught and still found no help! The stairs were very slippery and there was no hand rail at the door or any ramp. I had come for my 19 week ultrasound appointment with Dr. Bhawna, who showed absolutely no empathy when I informed her what had happened. Instead her assistant complained that I shouldn’t have been late, I was late because I fell at the hospital entrance! Dr. Bhawna did half the scan very unprofessionally and seemed inept at answering basic questions and totally uninterested in her job. She was curt and seemed to be in a hurry and kept saying she had to send me out if the baby did not turn. The baby turned 5-7 minutes into the scan and even stayed in position yet she seemed to totally ignore it! Then she sent me out for a walk, despite knowing the discomfort I was in. I was told to wait for 30 minutes and after waiting 1.5 hours was told it would take even more time despite me complaining of back pain due to my fall. She was heavily overbooked and none of the staff seemed to care. My mother tried to speak to Dr. Bhawna and once again she showed zero empathy and was very rude to her, stating she would make us wait for another 1.5hours!! Eventually after 3 hours of pain and bad attitude from their staff, we demanded a refund and decided to never return here again. This was a harrowing experience for a first time mother and absolutely pathetic behavior on the part of an experienced radiologist. Highly recommend she be taken to task on this. The hospital infrastructure needs grievous improvement as well they are endangering patients. With this episode they have just lost a high value NRI client in me, as I had already spoken with a CRM the previous day to book the Presidential Suite package. I will obviously not be returning here!
