I took my wife to Dr. Jaya M Bhat after pregnancy confirmation and indeed my expectation was just not few folic acid tablets rather expecting her to be courteous and approachable till delivery. My wife was having a severe ear ache and fever soon after we finished our consultation and the doctor was not available for appointments for next two days.
As my wife was just 7 weeks pregnant I was afraid of approaching other doctor and gave a call to Dr. Jaya Bhat. Unfortunately we got an answer saying "don’t disturb me, I’m very busy with my work". It might be quite normal for them but certainly it is not the way to talk to a patient. Nevertheless we will be visiting her continuously for next couple of months.
Overall, we couldn’t get what we expected despite of heavy consultation charges and couple of unnecessary lab tests. Hope this helps others in choosing a right doctor for their pregnancy consultation.
