Shailaja Vallabaneni was the doc scheduled for my NT scan. My experience was not good.
She truly lacks patience. The first time, I saw my baby, I was so excited and just spoke to my husband saying" yaay see her hands", only to have shouted back from her saying "dont talk". Not a please and definitely not in a kind tone.
She told me my bladder was empty and so the next time I drank lot of water and she told me why I had drunk so much water and swore she never used the word empty bladder / full bladder.
I felt so uncomfortable at having a doctor shout back/being rude at me. After having spent 2 days of re-scans where she hardly spent 3-5 minutes every time I went(reason baby not in position), I asked her if I could come in next day just to try my luck, she told me she s not "in" the next day.
I went back contemplated at her re-scans and decided to switch my scanning appoinment to Manipal only to find her working that day.
Having being lied at, is very unprofessional for a doctor who has been entrusted a very good job. She lacks maturity and good communication skills needed for a doctor with a patient. I got my scan done by a very good doctor at Manipal who spent close to 15-20 minutes every sitting and three sittings(same day) and got the job done. She offered me a cot(in Manipal) to lie down if that could help and I was called in regular intervals.
The re-scans are not properly paced out at Cloudnine and I literally waited 2-2.5 hrs before being re-scanned. It was not just me, U can almost see frustrated parents everywhere. I know NTScans needs the patient time from their side. 2-3 visits are all fine only if you are with a good doctor and u are assured you are in good hands.
